New York Tom's Foodtruck will be the main food lunch option at two events in April  One Southwest and one in Southeast City - stay tuned !

Company Summary
NY Tom’s Food Truck will be a food truck operating in the St. Louis metro area serving up hot links, meatballs, chicken, steak, pasta & salad & chips.   NY Tom’s Food Truck will use locally sourced ingredients to make a variety of tantalizing lunches and snacks, serving customers with speed and a smile. The menu will be rotated occasionally and currently includes options for the growing number of customers who require a gluten-free, contaminant-free option.

Operations Plan

NY Tom’s Food Truck will operate 5-6 days a week, serving lunch and dinner opportunities each day, and operate 11am-2pm and 6pm-9pm  M-F.  Saturdays targeted for events and catering opportunities.

Industry and Target Market 

We will cater to the needs of a growing food truck marketplace in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Our product caters to all of us; those who prefer a healthy dining option or a ballpark crave, and desire a quality product with a low cost alternative.

Critical Success Factors
To compete in the food truck industry, it is important to be accessible to our customer base with real-time location and menu information. High traffic locations with professional customers who have little to no food options during short lunch breaks are a big priority.

Establishing a good relationship with customers is important to drive repeat business.
This relationship will be based on excellent service and excellent throughput time, when
compared to other food trucks. NY Tom’s Food Truck will feature a regular variety menu with quality, local ingredients and weekly specials to maintain product intrigue.

Our Plan

New York Tom's Foodtruck is a reconditioned International Step van.  It has unusually low mileage and has passed inspections for engine, transmission, and front end.  The tires are sound and as you can see, it looks real sharp on the outside too.

The 16 foot full kitchen is brand new.  A two burner stove top oven with a flat grill, a charbroiler, deep fryer and steam table for cooking along with a salad prep fridge, two 12 cu.ft fridges and a 12 cu.ft freezer.  Plenty of counter/serving space and a five ft serving window.  An 11ft. hood vent covers all cooking areas
